exactly , thats y i tried to make a poll and bring it under one thread , but seems i forgot to make it open poll , so cant see who is polling .. any idea how to edit the poll ? can any one of the moderators make this poll viewable .. i dont have the option to edit poll it seems .

Please be advised that the Nebraska Service Center (NSC) has been experiencing delays in the processing of I-765 EADs and I-131 Advance Paroles. Therefore, we recommend that EAD and AP renewals be filed 4 months prior to the expiration date, the earliest date USCIS will accept renewal applications. For EAD applications that have been pending for more than 90 days, an interim EAD card can be issued. Please contact our office for assistance with expedite procedures for your pending I-765 or I-131 application if your current work authorization is about to expire or if you have an emergent need to travel.

Can I change to different employer while the i140 is pending and also keep the PD. What i would like to do is..i want to change to a different employer and ask the present employer to keep the i-140 process as it is.
Is it ok if the i-140 gets approved while i no longer work for that company. I understand if i get any RFE, then employer need to respond accordingly.

I have one question: My I-485 applcation (employment based) was rejected due to I-130 attachment in error.
If USCIS reject my entire package of I-485 because I have attached I-130 application. What are my options? Is there any law that USCIS can only reject I-130 and accept I-485 appplications (myself and for my wife)? I have seperate fee checks for all the applications.
Please help me....

I have a scheduled EAD FP (e-filed) next Monday in the Dallas Area.
My 485 FPs have not yet come and my dates are current. I am planning to ask the ASC Officer if they can take my 485 FPs also. I know some people had success with this method.
However, my situation is a little different,
I do not have my 485 Receipt (Lost in mail and returned as undeliverable :( ). I have opened numerous SRs and have those notices. What can I take to the ASC ??

I think u can as long as prior employer does not revoke i140, please consult a good attorney
Current situation :
Labor approved(eb3 with pd of July 03),
I140 in process,
In my seventh year of H1b on a one year extension expiring in August.
Please advise if I can change employers now and still get a new H1 though I am in my seventh year ?

hi there,
i'm planning to bring my in-laws to USA and they have their visitor visa appointment next week. everything is set but i'm a littled worried about demonstrating financial stability to sponsor them.
i have paystubs & employment letter but the bank letter doesn't look so good. i live on check-to-check and my current balance is around 3K. you think i should take chance and go for the interview and hope VO doesn't ask for bank letter or doesn't mind the balance?
please help. any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Hi,
I'm in the process of going through the naturalization process having filed the N-400 form.
However, I have a change of plans and would like to 'abandon' my naturalization application.
Would this affect any of my future applications? be it a future naturalization application or petition for a relative the green card.
Thanks for any advice as I can't seem to get a definite answer.

Lots of activity to report. Congressional Hispanic Caucus leaders met this week with President Obama who said he wants a vote during the Lame Duck and would work the phones to round up votes. Harry Reid tweeted today that he'll offer the DREAM Act as a standalone bill which will hopefully help bring along a few of the "procedural" no voters from last September who indicated they like the DREAM Act but didn't believe in tacking it on to a budget bill. My spouse H4 extension was filed in Jan 2011 and I was under impression that receipt is with lawyer. But recently I came to know that it should come to my address, as of today we have not got receipt no. I am still waiting for H1 approval decision and know H1 receipt no.
Is there way for us or our lawyer to get receipt no. for my spouse's H4 application?

I know this is really stupid but I can't seem to find the answer to this one:
- I am doing a paper filing of 1040. Do I need to send 1040 as a two sided print out or single sided printouts?
The CA 540 specifically says single sided printouts but am not able to find this information for 1040.

Hello Everyone,
My dates are current last month. I added my wife couple weeks back [I couldnt add her earlier as i was not married then]. I got her receipt notices and also fingerprinting. My question is :
is there a way to say that she is linked to my application ?
becuase when I call USCIS, they say: This is separate application and they cant say if it is linked to primary or not.
--> Does receiving receipt notices mean that they accepted her application and linked to primary ?
--> does Fingerprinting appointment means that they accepted her application.
My concern is if my GC is approved and if she is not linked, it would be a problem,I guess.
So, please advise me as to how would i know if she is linked to my application?

Ooops... I posted my reply to the pic in the gallery! To reiterate here, I love this photo... the only distracting aspect is the deteriorating wall in the shadows on the left. I played with some creative cloning and removed it and quite liked the results. Other than that, the color, symetry and lighting all come together in a really compelling way. It's one of my personal favorites!
