hello! i overstayed my visa by several years, left , and was able to get a new tourist visa and enter the u.s.
after leaving the u.s, on return,i was denied enterance, removed and banned for 5 years. my boyfriend lives in u.s, he's a citizen. is a fiance visa helpful to allow me in until we get married? is there even a chance? or do we need to marry outside of the u.s in this case? thank you!

We filed for our 2nd AP on July 2nd. They received it on 8th and mine was approved on 22nd. Got my AP yesterday. No idea what happened to my spouse's. I got that RN from the back of the check and called USCIS. I entered the 10 digit RN and it said not enough numbers entered?? So i called again and said no RN and i got a cust service rep. I gave her the RN and she said they received it on 8th and is still processing it. She said it doesn't matter whether we filed together and asked us to wait 6 months.
Is this normal? I just hope the other AP is not lost.
Also since there is no expiry date on the AP, is it to be taken as its valid only for 1 year from the date of issue? We never had to use our 1st AP.

one of my friend worked here on L1 for couple of years for employer A.
then he got a H1 approved effective from Oct'07, with employer B.
but, he did not actually start working under employer B on H1 (payroll) until Mar'08.
he continued working under employer A on L1 ( has paystubs without any break) until Mar'08 and then worked with employer B on H1.
now he did a cap-exmpt H1 transfer to employer C, got H1 apporved and they are filing for GC labor PERM petition.
question is, while providing his previous employers info in the PERM petition,
can he say that he worked with employer A on L1 until Mar'08, even though his H1 with employer B is effective from oct'07?
appreciate any advice

Hi All,
How important is the location of the US embassy for getting the H1B visa stamping ? When applying for my H1B petition in April 2008, my lawyer had mentioned that I would be going to the US embassy in Germany for the H1B visa interview. I'm also aware that I could go to my home country for doing the same. However, does anyone know if I can go to Canada/Mexico, given that I have the visas to go to these countries ? I have a US H4 visa.

a compromise has been reached between Democrats and Republics for CIR.

Lets hope all those eligible for I485 get green card asap.

File->Script->Image Processor lets you batch convert to .jpg, tif and psd. Or any combination thereof. You can run an action on the batch too.
